Here's one solution that happened to work for me -
1. In Microsoft Office Excel 2007, click the Microsoft Office Button, and
then click Excel Options.
2. Click Advanced, scroll down to the General bar and underneath, click to
clear the checkmark from the Ignore other applications that use DDE check
box.
3. Click OK.
