Exchange Account Creation Problem....

I added a user the other day and could not access the Exchange account via
Outlook 2003. The error said: "The action could not be completed. The name
could not be matched to a
name in the address list." Looking in the Exchange manager I also see that
the mailbox was not created.

One note about this server. I had to do a complete disaster recovery,
re-installing Exchange in recovery mode and then restoring the data store
from tape using Veritas' BackupExec about a month ago. All existing
mailboxes are working fine.

Thanks,

Randy

Have you installed Exch SP1 or SP2 or SBS SP1 yet? This will fix that issue

Did you reinstall all the service packs and Exchange updates as well after
the disaster recovery?
Did you send an email to the new user's mailbox? Exchange Manager may not
show the mailbox until eiother the user has logged in once or an email is
received.
Have you tried restarting te MS Exchange Attendant service (or reboot the
server?
Can you log into OWA with the new user's credentials?
