I am trying to get our mobile phone to sync with our exchange server.

The exchange server setup is in a front-end backend setup. The domain is
trusted with dce.psu.edu and we are trying to use dce.psu.edu sync and does
not work, also the skeleton account does not work either.

The mobile phone is a Motorola Q but i tried with a Mobile Phone emulator
also with the same results.

It seems to take my username and password but will not synce i get this
error code on my handheld

0x85010014

And i also get this in my application error log on the front end.

Event Type: Error
Event Source: Server ActiveSync
Event Category: None
Event ID: 3005
Date: 2/6/2007
Time: 4:36:52 PM
User: CAMPUSES2\ehp3
Computer: UP-SRV99
Description:
Unexpected Exchange mailbox Server error: Server:
[UP-SRV98.campuses2.psu.edu] User: [] HTTP status code: [501].
Verify that the Exchange mailbox Server is working correctly.

On the backend I get no errors..

Any idea. I have beating the crap out of my eyes all day trying to find an
answer.

Thanks.

> What Exchange version are you running?

I am using Exchange Standard 2003 on the FE and the BE

looking at the HTTP status code
