Is there any way to execute a batch file on system startup in Vista
Home Premium? I want it to execute when the system starts up, not
when someone logs in.

Wow, haven't used batch files in years.

Maybe this will help:

Proceed with caution. Some things are powerful and can give unexpected
results. Some are intended for XP and may not work as expected in
Vista.

The date and time was 5/25/2008 8:51 PM, and on a whim,
pounded out on the keyboard:

Since gpedit.msc isn't included with any Home version of Vista, here is
a link that is a spreadsheet showing how to access the
Computer configuration
Windows Settings
Scripts (Startup/Shutdown)

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...DisplayLang=en

Under the "All" tab of the spreadsheet, check out row 2032.
