Apologies if this subject has been discussed before.

My web browser, Windows Explorer 7, keeps getting bombarded with web pages
opening on top of the web page I’ve actually opened up, some times up to 6 at
a time! It’s a battle to keep closing them down. Yes, I have got Pop-ups
blocked on the browser settings.

I’ve ran, Norton antivirus, PC Doctor (Registry & Spy ware), Trend Micro
antivirus, Windows Defender, Ad-aware! Every software application / version
has been kept up to date and “ALL” say there is no problem with my PC and no
virus has been detected! I beg to differ!!

Any help would be appreciated?

Thanks

This isn't a Windows Update problem.

Those with IE7-specific questions or comments are asked to post to and seek

I know it is probably stating the obvious but jic this is what is happening
to you?... In IE7 if you click the arrow next to the links it will open that
link in a new page, if you click the arrow by a folder it will open the all
links folders inside that folder.

Else you should go to tools and see whats being loaded into your IE bar,
might be a problem there.
