Hi all,

I'm facing a problem after installed SP2
I can't right click on any file after I installed SP2 in Explorer. It give
me this error message

"The instruction at 0x02d3415b reference memory at 0x00000000. The memory
could not be written."

Then it ask me to click ok to terminate the program or cancel to debug the
program.

What's wrong actually? What's wrong with my memory?? I can right click on
folder ut not file.

I have try to restore my OS to the point before SP2 is installed, and it
work as normal. Then I try to installed SP2 again then this happened again. I
can sure that this is cause by SP2.

I try to installed the latest security upgrade from Microsoft Update Website
but it still didn't work.

Anyone can help me? Is there a patch for this problem? Where else can I ask
for help??

Thanks in advanced.

Best regards,
Pop

First guess would be that you need to update your graphics driver. Suggest
you visit the graphic card's manufacturers website and download/install the
latest drivers from there.

Two of the more common ones are Nvidia and ATI:
http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp
http://www.ati.com/support/driver.html

I have got the same problem too.
If i right click on a file the system locks up.
The same happens when I want to delete a file by pressing the 'del' button.
I problem occurred after I installed SP2.
I cant be the video driver because I recently updated it.
Seems to me I has nothing to do with the video driver.

Hi

I suggest you use ShellExView to see if you can find a culprit
in the context menu handler. More here:
