Explorer Crashes after Update

Running Win 2000, SP4
IE 6, SP1

IE opens and then crashes when attempting to navigate away from home page.
Also Add/Remove programs briefly opens and then crashes.

Both crasches began after downloading 2 updates for ATI Radeon 9000 and one
update for IE 6 or Media player 9. I can't remember which. I can't access
the windows update site to vie history to determine which.

Is there a log that will tell me which?

Can I roll these back?
