"Explorer.exe - application error" after installing Windows SP 2

while using explorer this error appears:

"The instruction at '0x77f5310f' referenced memory
at '0x00760061'. The memory could not be 'written'."

is microsoft looking into the problem?

many people seem to be getting same problem
