I bought my computer for not a long time ago, but still it could not deal
with Service Pack 2.. So after I had installed SP2 with Windows Update I had
to uninstall it again. I used this
(http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=875350) article because I was
not sure if i just could use the Add or Remove Programs tool, but i did.
Annyway, everything looks good after the restart, but when I wanted to listen
to some music the computer crashes. The Task Manager indicates that it's
explorer.exe that have a CPU on 100% and the RAM rise and rise (explorer
version: 6.00.2800.1221 (xpsp2.030511-1403)). I found some articles about
similar problems (not exact), but not one solution.

(I'm no expert, thats why I ask here) BUT what i think have happend is that
when i uninstalled SP2 not all the files/programs that where changed back to
SP1. The explorer.exe and several other programs that Windows run is version
SP2, but the system says i am running on SP1.

Annyone?

I have tried:
- ShellExView
- Turn Off: "Fade or Slide Menus into View" Visual Effect
- Use Classic Windows Folders
- run: sfc /scannow
and
- Disk Cleanup (he)

Some Specs.
Intel Pentium 4 CPU 2.8GHz Cache: 1024 kb
Mem: 512 MB (479)
Microsoft Windows XP Professional 2002 SP1 (5.1.2600)

Is there an actual crash (e.g. Error Reporting Tool with a <click here>
which shows you an Error Signature) or are you killing a loop and
reporting that as a "crash"?
