Explorer.exe don’t load untill I do it myself

Ok i had a virus and sbybot SD was giving me a message to do wtih
csrss,
I thought this was the problem so i removed the virus with avg 8.0 and
opend up task maneger and there were 2-3 csrss running i done end
prosess on it and it stoped vista and went to the blue screen...

Then i restarted and logon screen was ok but when the desktop loaded
up its black just with my documents window open

and i have to do CTRL+ALT+DL and new process explorer.exe

I am running Windows vista home premium

Hi Gunny

there is an entry for explorer in the startup list in defender example
here you may want to check if yours is still there or disabled
or check the registry entry mentioned
