explorer.exe problem after windows update

after windows update i have the following message when i try to open the
control panel: explorer.exe create errors and it will be end from windows.H

I am sorry you are running into this issue. While the installation of a
Windows update appears to be a catalyst to the problem, the issue here seems
to be functionality. Please post this question to one ore more of the
following newsgroups, as they have people with more experience in this issue
and can help you more quickly. By the way, I am assuming this is Windows
XP. Is this Windows XP?
