Joachim,
These Message-ID have all been aged off the msnews server
so I tried using Google Groups Advanced search for Message-ID
with them.
http://groups-beta.google.com/advanced_search
(BTW here's a tip about using Message-ID.
Don't include their angle brackets when using the news: protocol prefix
and then Google Groups will generate links to the equivalent messages
in its archive. Also Outlook Express users will be able to use them
more succesfully--so long as they aren't deleted from their server's archive. Etc.)
Two of them can be found that way. The second message you cite appears
not to be archived by Google Groups. In fact, I think it is missing from the
thread there completely.
I assume this is the one you meant? (Testimony from Marc Cornelius.)

(Taking one message to this newsgroup as a pattern and then replacing
the &mid= value with the first part of your Message-ID.)
Compare two versions of that thread:

http://www.microsoft.com/communities...ate&sloc=en-us
Sometimes posters on the web interface may find that their messages
are assigned another external Message-ID different from the one suggested
by its copyURL pattern. However, in this case I think I was able to derive
the copyURL pattern from the Message-ID.
