Explorer problems after sp2 install

I have just installed sp2 and now i cant access any on the explorer files. I
get the following error.

The instruction at "0x0233ca30" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The
memory could not be written.

I also cant open up norton antivirus to run it and check.
Before i installed sp2 i did check for spyware. I just dont know whats
happening.
