explorer won't play games.

Help I can't play games IE closes down

Everytime I enter a site such as Pogo or Yahoo games my IE closes down. I
don't know why it is doing this and I can't find how to fix the problem. I am
running windows XP pro and have done all the updates I can seem to find. Does
anyne know why it keeps closing on me? I am basically puter dumb so the less
technical you can make this for me the better. Thanks
