Hi,

I have the same question.

I know that you can go to windows updates and select review history from the
left menu and then select "print all"
here you can same it to "print to file" option and use ghost script to edit
the prn file to pdf or you can select, if there, the option to print to "MX
XPS Document Writer". this file will open with IE.

i have an isolated pc with no installed printer. i was hoping for an easier
solution.

It's not clear that you do. Your requirement looks to be more with listing
than "exporting" (whatever that means.)

Are you necessarily trying to list what is installed
or ultimately interested in what is not installed?

Since most of your updates will be security updates
I'd try using the MBSA command line client (mbsacli.exe)

E.g., I would hope that there might be exploitable diagnostics
in the MBSA tool to allow you to derive a list of installed updates.
After all, in order to find out what is not installed
it must to some extent check what *is* installed,
although it might do it more by module version
than by explicit update number.

Hmm... alternatively, looking at its list of possible reports,
Shavlik's HFNetChkPro might provide a simpler solution.

BTW neither requirement is really on topic for this newsgroup,
so you might get more informed help from either the WSUS
or MBSA NG.

Good luck
