Ext hard drive won't backup Vista Ultimate

I can't get "my book WD ext. USB drive" to back up using windows ultimate.
It displays - Internal Error Server Execution failed 0x80080005 Check System
Configuration. Please Help!

Hi Dennis,

Do you run McAfee? this error is known to be caused by parts of their
2008 suite

check this post on another forum or check with McAfee for solutions

Yes, I am useing McAfee. Thank you for the help. I looked, but could not find
the details you furnished to me - Dennis

Have you used the Drive before?
Is it recognised in Disk management?
Is it formatted?

Yes, the drive works to make copies, but not the Windows complete PC
Backup.It is formatted to NFTS, and it is recognized in disc management. It
copied my local drive (C) with the WD Retrospect software, but not the
windows complete pc backup. As per advice, I turned off McAfee Security, but
same thing. Then I uninstalled McAfee security and same error message. I
upgraded to windows ultimate because I wanted the complete pc backup. Are
there any other programs that offer all the windows complete pc restore
features?

Have a look at Acronis True Image for full PC backup.
It's not free, but it's about the best on the market.
