Extender Help

Hello,
I am running Windows 7 64 bit and have recently gotten interested in an
extender. I found and bought 2 Linksys products. The first one I cancelled
even
before I got it since I found out it was made for XP only. I bought
another one
(DMA 2100) and got it only to find that in order to make it work, I needed
an
HDMI cable. My only connection options are composite video and S Video. Is
there
anyone out there that can tell me if there are any products that will work
with
Windows 7 and will work with the above connections, preferably composite
video?
Please email me at if you can help. If I can find a
product
name that does not cost an arm and leg and is semi available, I can
research it,
but right now I am shooting in the dark.

Yeah, but what about everything else?

I modern HTPC is about more than just cloning an S1 Tivo.

I clicked that amazon link and saw that it went to an XBox. Does that mean

need to buy an xbox to watch a movie from my PC? Also, if I DID get that

will it run independently in Windows 7. I currently have no interest in

games or any other Xbox features. The extender part is the only thing I
