External numpad on laptop

Yo

Situation: a USB numpad is connected to a laptop.

Problem: if "NumLock" is active on the external numpad, the numpad on
the laptop keyboard is active too; if "NumLock" isn't pressed, the
numpad doesn't work.

How can I ensure that the laptop keyboard and the external keypad act
as a regular 105-key keyboard?

The numpad is part of a laptop USB accessory set of the brand :ZOLID
and distributed by Aldi. There are no drivers included.

Thanks.

N.
