I am installing windows updates on a new PC, Windows XP. In the update
process, all the updates download, but when it get to the install step, it
stops and goes to the window that shows all the updates that did not install.
I then went to the Download center and installed each update individually
and have successfully installed most, including service pack 3. However, on
K950759 I keep getting the error - Extraction failed - "update\update.exe is
not a valid win32 application." My concern not specifically with this
update, but that it is preventing all other updates from installing correctly
through the regular Windows Update process.
