F:\ Drive Removed after Software Distribution Service 2.0

Lost access to second hard disk drive F:\, after an update. System Restore
did not work. Hardware device is working fine. Just lost the letter
mapping. Any idea how to get the drive back without reformatting and loosing
hard disk data?
