Facebook crashing

Hi
Im using Windows Vista when ever I click on www.facebook.com
my computer freezes any ideas what this could be?

Does it happen with all browsers? Did you try firefox?

Kate,

Try the following.........
Click Start, and then type Internet Explorer in the Start Search box.
Click Internet Explorer "No Add-Ons" at the top of the window.
It may be an ActiveX control and something else causing it to freeze. This
will at least eliminate if it is or not.

lol! I guess your Flash/Java installation/s are screwed btw. If you get
those fixed, you could try IE again. But I wouldn't if I were you. Welcome
to the cool firefox community!

I removed Adobe plug ins and that fixed the problem

Are you using Bitdefender. I had this problem with facebook and youtube
I uninstalled bitdefender and not it don't crash. Waiting fo
Bitdefender to get back on this one
