I have received another error message:

Componenet GUID: {7071ECA3-663B-4BC1-A1FA-B97F3B9173}

Componenet file: [C:\windows\system32\connect.dll]

Error: (0x800706BA)

The error message could not be found.

Additional info: Failed to detect internet connectivity.

The prior error messages were:

1. Error 633: Already in use or is not configured properply;
2. The dependency service or group failed to start; and
3. Computer does not have a network adapter installed.

The computer (Toshiba Satellite P205D), which is a month old, was working
fine until a few days ago.

Thanks for your help.

Are you online ?
which browser ?
I had the same problem when I finally threw in the towel with IE. and went to
Firefox. But it browses. It just screws up launching from the keyboard
shortcut. Guess there's something IE hard wired in. Actually there's lotsof IE
hardwired in that screws up lots of things.
IE: My email program just recently got weaned from IE failures, but some things
still expect Outlook and tell me they can't find the email program, but agent
still boots.
