Is the 3rd update KB937287 ? If yes, see:
The update is not installed successfully, you receive a message, and the
computer restarts when you try to install an update in Windows Vista
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/949358
IF the problematic update is KB937287 you can stop the Windows Update
service [Start > Run > type in net stop wuauserv
Click OK or press Enter], delete the contents of
WINDOWS\SoftwareDistrbution\Download <--- this subfolder
[Show hidden files, folders, and system files -
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tuto...l62.html#vista ]
manually download the update and *save* it -
Windows Vista x86-based systems
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...DisplayLang=en
Once the download completes close all open programs and browsers.
*** Install NO other update besides KB937287 ***
*Right* click Windows6.0-KB937287-v2-x86.msu and choose 'Run as
administrator'. Follow the prompts to allow it to run.
Restart the system.
Did that get it installed ? If not, then since this is a brand new
system and still under warranty, contact the manufacturer. They are
supposed to provide support for these issues as it's *their* OEM version
of Windows that is installed.
