I have exactly the same issue, with these two patches the error code was
0x80070643. I have folowed the suggested fix which relates to the OSE service
which made no difference.

I know this doesn't resolve your issue but at least you are not alone!

Bobby, I have the same update fail. I tried only KB907492 but failed. I don't
know why. I have OggicePro2000 OEM(DELL) with upgrade to Office Pro2003
packMicrosoft.

Which information is very likely the basis for the issues you are
seeing. Please start a new post/thread with the errors you see, being
sure to indicate that your OS is Portuguese(Brasil).

Keep in mind that the majority of errors and issues posted here are for
English (US) systems. When you use other language packages, the fixes
posted here may not always be the best ones for your localized version.

Same problem here, then tried to run LIStool fix and that wouldn't install
either. Totally lost now!

I have the exact same problem - I also tried the LISTool. It did not work.
It's only the 2 office updates in which I'm having difficulty. I tried the
"fullfile" standalone download as well. It's on my desktop but it won't
complete the installation. Any other suggestions?
