Failed node, eviction steps

Hi,
I have a 2 node Windows 2003 cluster, running SP1.
This is just a file share cluster (no applications).
The I was updating some drivers on the inactive node and the node blew
up....it will not boot into Windows. The active node is still running.

My plan is to evict the broken node, rebuild the node and add it back into
the cluster.
Is this the best way to do it?

Most of the articles I find about evicting nodes refer the the node you want
to evict still running without problems...which is not my situation.

Anyone have any other steps or advice to offer, or any gotcha's to be aware
of?

Thanks.
Jeff

Yes. Right-click the failed node in Cluster Administrator and then select
Evict from the context menu.

Rebuild the server and then add it back to the cluster.
