Failed update again! (KB951589)

I've been trying to install the following critical update for days now and it
always fails. The update is Security Update for Microsoft Office Excel Viewer
2003 (KB951589)
Can anyone help?

I've been having the same problem for the last week also. ??? Please post

Is the installer for the viewer still present on the system ?
If not, then suggest you uninstall Excel Viewer from Add/Remove Programs
in the Control Panel. Uninstall any security updates for it *first*.

Download the installation file from here and *save* it:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...DisplayLang=en

Create a folder in My Documents and name it Viewers.
Move xlviewer.exe to the newly created folder and *leave* it there.
Now run xlviewer.exe to install Office Excel Viewer 2003.

Download Excel Viewer 2003 Service Pack 3 (SP3) and *save* it:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...DisplayLang=en

Move it to the Viewers folder and then run
ExcelViewer2003SP3-KB934737-FullFile-ENU.exe

Any further updates will be detected via Automatic Updates as long as
the system is opted in to Microsoft Update or, do a manual visit to
Microsoft Update.

I SEND MY SUPPORT RIGHT NOW ! XOXO ! I have anough prayer in me for
everyone. My thoughts are with them. I can feel their pain and wonder just
how much more they can take. I live in Central New York and I'll take a good
Blizzard any day ! It's funny you bring this up since I was just looking
around the net for updates on the people and the storm. Where i work we have
the BIGGEST hearts. They organize the collection of clothing items, soap,
tooth brushes, etc and get them to these people in these Hurricane areas.
