Failed Update KB898461, Error 0x80070003

I tried to update windows with KB898461, but it always failed. I tried the
solutions from this group, but nothing seems help me:
Trying to instal manually failed, too: Cannot find the path
I deleted files in DATASTORE and DOWNLOAD in SoftwareDistribution.
I cleaned up TemporaryInternetFiles
I tried to clean up the dir WINDOWSUPDATE - but there is no file.
the path to PROGRAMFILES in the registry is ok

renaming the file c:\windows\system32\spupdsvc.exe is not possible, because
this file don't exists.

Did you try downloading and installing the update manually?
