Failed Vista update for 'Intel(R) Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN

Windows Vista failed with an error code 800705B4 when attempting to apply the
above update to my Sony Vaio laptop.

Now, I get the STOP RDR_FILE_SYSTEM error upon booting and it blue screens.

When I boot into safe mode with networking it's fine. What is the deal?

How much memory does your system have?
Is it all being detected?

Otherwise try booting with the /SOS parameter to get some clues about
what is loaded just before the STOP occurs. Also, the parameters given
with the STOP code could give you clues about the module involved in the crash
(e.g. assuming that they are addresses within known modules).
