For some reason the pc won't let me view news videos and games etc on the

fixed now.
USING WINDOWS XP not sure if its SP2 although I think somewhere I read it
had been upgraded to SP2. Anyway the owner of this PC bought it in 2006.
After trying to view, the message says the PC is unable to play content.
Sometimes says to install Adobe flash player.
Have gone through all those links have tried to uninstall any recent flash
players via control panel and adobe tech note links, have adjusted activex
prompts to enable and back and forth and still nothing. Still will not
install. What am I doing wrong?
Could the registry be corrupted somehow? The last security update I could
see from history in Microsoft update was in August 2006 for KB913433.
I hope someone understands what I'm trying to say. This is frustrating as
usually can figure things out following steps.
Is it best to take it somewhere? I would rather save money and fix myself.
Thanks
