I am trying to build a 2-node W2K8 FC using vmware 6.5. I am using startwind
and MS iscsi initiator. The FC validation process fails with duplicate IP
addresses but both adapters in both servers have unique IP addresses. The
failure refers to a "Tuxedo" adapter which I am completely unaware of. the
messages are:-

Found duplicate IP address fe80::100:7f:fffe%11 on node
w2k8node1.gbhome2k8.com adapter Local Area Connection* 9 and node
w2k8node2.gbhome2k8.com adapter Local Area Connection* 9.

Adapter Name Local Area Connection* 9
Adapter Description Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface
Physical Address 02-00-54-55-4E-01-00-00
Status Not Operational
IP Address fe80::100:7f:fffe%11

Alas after trying both sets of instructions I had the same problem and I had
to disable the nteredo adapter in device manager which allowed the
validation to mwork. I wonder if it is because Im have IPV6 bdisabled on
both network adapters or because its in vmware???

Hi,

Are you using cloned/sysprep'd images for your nodes?

You could infact still be seeing a Teredo issue as there can be problems
disabiling it. You could try restarting the machines (failover your HA
resources to keep them online), then again try disabling Teredo either via
the registry or CMD (netsh).

Thanks,
