failure to download window update

hi to all IT expert out there. My PC is giving problem nowadays and i hope
that u guys out there can help me out.

ever since i installed trend micro PC-cillin internet security software into
my pc, its security check always prompt me that there are many security
vulnerabilities inside my computer. it advise me to download window update
immediately to fix the problem. however when i want to download the update by
using both express and custom methods, its fail to download. the caption
always appear when the download failed and it read " failure to download
update for intelligent transfer service (BITS)2.0 and Win HTTP 5.1 (KB
842773). every time i try to update my window, it fails and every time the
caption will appear.

so frenz out there please advise or anyone who encountered such problem
before pl help me. thanks a lot. i really need to get my window updated
because viruses and esp trojans kept attacking my pc . sometimes there's no
way for me to get connected to the internet as my IE fail to response when
clicked on, even though i have set the virus scan on at all times.

I'm not an IT Expert, just someone trying to help.

Try manually downloading the BITS package and install it.
