There is no need to install SP1: you can proceed directly to SP2, which is
cumulative, and includes all of SP1.
I'm not sure what state your system is in if you have installed SP1 on top
of SP2.

Your download was corrupt. Empty your Temporary Internet Files, and try the
download again. Save to disk, and check the "Digital Signature" is valid
(right click, select Properties, tab Digital Signatures) before executing
it.
