Failure to send because of zomby messages stuck in outbox

I use WLM (ver. 14.0.8064.0206, WinXP) both for email and as nntp
newsreader.

Sometimes after sending several emails in a batch (to IMAP, in case it
matters),
the messages are actually sent, but they still remain in outbox in some
zomby form.

When I try to open such messages, a very helpful message pops up: "an error
has occurred".

The problem:
If I switch to another email provider or news, and send some more messages,
WLM won't send the new ones; rather it will try to resend those previous
zomby messages.
Obviously it fails every time, but won't move on.

The only workaround I've found is to check the outbox after each send
attempt,
if there are zomby messages, delete them manually.
Then the new messages can be sent.

If no update is available since v. 14.0.8064.0206, I'm going to Firebird.
It's enough... fed up with this pathetic, rushed to release, outsourced MS
creature.

The current build 14.0.8089.0726 of WLMail has been available for about 6
months now. Get your free copy from http://download.live.com, along with
any of the other Windows Live Essentials that you want.

We hear very few "message stuck in the outbox" complaints these days. ;<)
