I have just installed the software for managing the Nvidia hardware firewall
which is on my motherboard. Before doing this my ActiveSync 3.8.0 (Build
5004) has been working perfectly. Now on synching I see
Connected
Calander, Contacts, Tasks, Notes: attention required
Resolve items...
When I click resolve items I see a message
Information type not synchronized
Items of one or more information types cannot be synchronized. Disconnect
and reconnect yuour device.
To view all error messages and dialog boxes that require your input, you
must connect to this computer via infrared or serial/usb cable. (I use USB)
I have of course removed and reinserted my iPAQ 5550 and then when this did
not work I soft reset it but I still cannot synchronize.
I have gone through all the Firewall settings but do not see anything which
might be blocking the synch.
Outlook 2003 is working as is Outlook Express 6, Windows Explorer 6 and
Firefox 1.5
Your help appreciated.
