Falure when downloading AS 3.7.1

I get the following message:

==> Setup could not copy the file C:\Documents and Settings\my userid\Local
Settings\Temp\IXP000.TMP\core\inf\wceusbsh.inf (copyerror -1). Restart your
desktop coputer and run Setup again. <==

Anyone ever see this before?

Hi Jim,

Try installing ActiveSync after deleting the zero byte files in \windows\inf
folder.

1. On your computer Click Start -> Run and type

%windir%/Inf

2. Click Ok and a Window will appear displaying various INF/PNF files.
3. Sort by "Name" and view the listing in "Detail" (click view->detail), so
that all information about the file is visible.
4. Locate OEMx.inf and OEMx.PNF (where x is any number) files that are zero
bytes long. Delete all zero byte OEMx.INF and OEMx.PNF files in this
folder.
5. Reboot and then try reinstalling ActiveSync.
