I have 2 accounts, one for grandchildren and the administrator account
which is the one I use. Unfortunately I installed family safety on the
administrator account and I want to delete it from this account. It is a
pain to have to continually turn it on and not be able to access ordinary
websites!
I want to delete the family safety from my administrator accound and
don't know how to do it. I hope someone can tell me how to do this.
Maggie

Hi, Maggie. I won't burdon you with step by step details, which I
assume you know how. Just the overall method : -
First, Control Panel> Add/remove user accounts , change your acct. into
standard user acct.
Second, Control Panel> Setup Parental Control , click on your now
standard acct., and click " off " under Parental Control heading.
Third, Control Panel> Add/remove user accounts, change your standard
user acct. back to admin. acct.
If you encounter roadblocks along the way, please post your problem(s)
as detail as possible. If it is successful, please let me know too.
Thank you.

I did go to "add/remove user accounts", but when I try to change the type
of account from Administrator to Standard it does not let me do this; the
help screen tells me It requires one Administrator for each machine. In the
process of trying to change to a standard account though I unchecked the
safety checkbox and now can't check it again!
Once you tell me how to get around this obstacle, your instructions are
very clear.
Thank you for your help.

Hi,Maggie. My apology, I omitted 1 crucial point; about 1 admin.acct o
one machine
Please change your granddaugter's account to Admin.account, for now
use that new admin.account and change your acct. to standard acct
uncheck the parental controls. After that change your own acct. back t
admin.acct., then change your granddaughter's accct. back to standar
acct, etc, etc----. It's a mucical chair, itsn't it
