Several things:
SP2 automatically turns the XP Firewall on. If you have another one running,
as many do (I have Nortons Firewall), turn one of them off. Go to Outlook
Express/Tools/Options/Security Tab/Be certain that "Warn me when other
applications try to, etc," contains a check mark; plus if you want to
receive and open attachments, remove the check mark from "Do not allow
attachments to be saved or opened, etc,".
