Can't speak to the issue of whether you need to disable FUS, but if you

You'll follow Method Two. Note that this involves a registry change. Note
also that FUS is not being disabled in an inherent way, just that the option
to Switch Users is being removed. But that's what McAfee is looking for.
Since this is your son's laptop, he may not need more than one account,
depending on whether the 'guest' account is disabled and on whether he is
running as administrator.
