Fatal exception 0E

I am trying to run a Barbie game for my daughter. When I start the game I
get a blue screen and the message fatal exception OE 0028

4374BC3 in VXD
AU30WAVE(01) + 00014523

I can't even get into the game at this point. I have updated the driver for
the video card, but I'm not finding any help anywhere. Someone must know
what this means and how to resolve it. Please help. My 6 year old will only
wait for so long.
