Faults and errors

I have come across many, but here is the ones that come to mind.

When emptying the recycle bin, sometimes the icons remain until the bin is
closed.

When you set the start menu not to keep track of recent programs and then
set it back to keep track, it sets the amount of programs to zero and
doesn't return it to the value before the change...(left me wondering what
the hell I had done, was even considering a sys restore...doh!)

For recycle bin:
It sounds like a refresh issue. In Recycle bin, click View and the
click Refresh. On desktop, right click desktop and click Refresh.

For Recent Programs List:
This is normal. When you uncheck it and click apply or ok, Vist
automatically clears the list. When you check it again, Vista wil
start adding to the empty list again as you go.
