ABility to turn off features, disable services/components, set backrgound to
plain black, font colors to silver, and kill all gadgets, and just have
APPLICATIONS open.
When I work as an engineer, the las tthing I need are sidebars, clocks,
weathers, and idiotic ninsense I can get when I NEED, not in my
face.OCCUPYING VALUABLE DESKTOP SPACE.

I have a dozen hardcore apps open each of which may cost in $tens of
thousands, hello?
Do I need to know time in London when I am coding a Microcontroler in C, and
switch over to datsheet to check some chip pinout, and enter schematics and
run a simulation?

You idiots dance and clap hands when you see a new "gadget" added, to me
it's another thing to DISABLE and I get annoyed

Honey, I am sorry about the other night. I know premature ejaculation is
not a nice subject, but I need more than 30 seconds.

Yes.
Just hope ability to disable "niceties" will always remain for power users.
Most important is Windows Classic ability to set each & tiny bit of
appearance's COLORS.
You don't get that in WinXP theme.
You don't get that in WinVista incl it;s Aero.
Only when in Classic I can set colors as desired.

But Classic means it can die or deemed to be osbolete in the new edition of
Windows.
I just hope it won't happen.
I wish I could post a screenshot of my laptop, it's so neat.
It's Gothic & SImple.

You have been added to killfile.
From now on you should know your idiocy does not appear on our displays.

This is what we call "Freedom of choice", if anybody doesn't want any
features they are free to disable them and clap their hands and dance.
