How do I set a Favorite Folder in Vista? In XP it was easy, but can't find
it at all in Vista. Is it possible?

TIA

What exactly do you mean by a "favorite folder"? Where are you seeing
these "favorite folders"?

It should already exist as c:\users\yourname\Favorites

Favorites as in Internet Explorer?
Or Favorite Links as in Windows Explorer?
Or something else?

You can find it in your User folder, click Start > your account name and you
should see 'Favorites' there. If you want it displayed on the Start menu,
right click your Taskbar > Start Menu (tab) > Customize scroll down and
check the 'Favorites menu'. Click OK > OK

In Vista, in other words, a directory that I frequently viist in Windows
Explorer. In XP I could set those quite easily and they were then visible
the the Favorites navigation tree just like Web sites.

My Explorer has that by default......
If yours doesn't, but just has the Folders pane showing, is there an arrow
just to the right of the word "Folders"?

Thanks, Andre. How do I put something there? For example, suppose I need to
access files in D:\Dir1\Dir2\Dir3 frequently. How can put an entry in
Favorites so I can get to it quickly?
