I have XP-Pro with IE8. When I add anything to Favorites, it adds 2
favorites to the list. One is null and void (The target of this Internet
Shortcut is not valid....etc.) and the other works like it should. It is
rather annoying to have to constantly delete one of them. I have checked
all over the web in an attempt to find a solution. There are numerous
'bugs' described out there, but none of them are actually what I am
experiencing. I have tried all the fixes I could find, including
downloading the latest version of IE8 and reloading it, I tried all the
'fixes' that Microsoft provides, nothing makes a difference. I even tried
moving all my favorites to a different folder and starting over, but always
the same problem. Has anyone heard of this? It's driving me CRAZY!!
