Do you have a fax modem installed in your computer?
Fax component acts like a printer.
You "print" to the Fax just as if you are printing a page.
In order for the fax component to work you must have a fax modem
installed. Fax is Telephone line only, no internet at all.
The fax component shows in the Printers list and is selectable in the
print dialog
