Feature request: Drawing tool

First off, I really like Windows Live Messenger. Having a few friends with
artistic talent results in random comics and drawings. This makes Live
Messenger hands down the coolest IM program.

Anywho, I see that the drawing tool doesn't work on Mac OSX. Any chance
that can ever be added as a new feature?

Also, I notice Yahoo IM lets you add Live messenger contacts too, any chance
that could also support the drawing feature? Or would that violate a trade
secret or something....

Just thought I would chime in. What I'm asking for might be impossible to
offer, I just hope not.

Greetings,

It's certainly possible to do. For instance, there's an unofficial Nintendo DS Messenger
client that implements "digital ink".

Whether this is on the table for Messenger:Mac I don't know. I do think the priority for
them now is voice/video.

For Yahoo, well, it could happen. I do think they need to concentrate on some of the other
key functionality like file transfer however.

Cool beans.

I can kind of agree with making the file transfer more robust. Depending on
who I may share a file with, it either goes speedy, or 300 baud modem slow.
No idea what caused that.

An audio/video isn't of any interest to me, but for work we might make use
of a mass broadcast video.

Hopefully someone can figure out how to get the drawing tool working on the
Mac version. Right now it seems to think it has an update when it actually
doesn't. From what I can tell anyway.

Thanks!
