I would like a version of Messenger that you could put on your USB drive?
Or, how about Microsoft sell USB drives with Windows Live Messenger on them
for $5.00, I know I would buy one.

Well. I actually want a portable client, not a web based interface, at least
not until it is improved.

Jon. don't mean to sound nasty but, are you that obsessed with Live
Messenger that you feel the need to carry around with you when most
computers already have it installed?

why would anyone even want it?

Not the ones at my school, lol. They are all running Windows 2000. And,
yeah, I know, that Windows Live Messenger doesn't work on Windows 2000. But
still.
