If you're fed up with Vista, why don't you try a real operating system
like Ubuntu.

What you can do with Ubuntu:

Email
Surf the web
Burn CDs.
Rip CDs.
Listen to music.
Watch videos/DVDs.
Scan and print.
Spreadsheets.
Presentations
Newsgroups.
HTML editing.
Games like Chess, Tetris, all kinds of solitaire, etc.
Make videos.
Download photos from a camera and organize them.
Translations.
Use a dictionary
Learn how to touch type.
Edit images.
Send and receive a fax.
Take screen-shots.
Create .PDF files.
Create and use a data base.
Instant messaging with over 10 different programs in one including
Windows Live Messenger.
IRC.
Bluetooth.

and much more!

What you can't do with Ubuntu:

Worry about:
WPA and WGA raising their ugly heads,
DRM,
Viruses,
Root kits,
Spyware,
and
Malware.

Check it out at http://www.ubuntu.com/

Oh, and ignore the windroids who will have a hissy fit when they see
this post and react with profanity, lies, insults, weird sexual
fantasies and a whole lot of bluster.

I hope you're don't plan to go into the translation business because if
you are, you're gonna go broke. I have NUKED ten Vista installs for
people who prefer Ubuntu the past couple of days and five more just
arrived that I will be working on this weekend.

Try to get a clue, clueless, and try to keep up with the times.

Oh, and if you have one of those computers that doesn't have drivers for
XP, they are available with Ubuntu.

You must be mad, pal. Even during this global economic downturn nobody is
taking your dodgy advice. Look at the sales figures for MS and Apple. Look
at how their share prices are holding up. People would rather pay top dollar
for a proper system than install a completely FREE piece of junk.

You only speak for yourself, not for "people", sorry, and you speak for
yourself quite badly because you have all your facts wrong. Hint: ill
informed opinions like yours aren't facts.

The nymshifter shows his desperation by altering my post. Why am I not
surprised?
