FFFFFFFB

I have windows 98SE and media player 9.0 but get the FFFFFFFB error when I
try to play a .mpe file
What is wrong? I also get the message "The DLL cpuinf32.dll cannot be
loaded. OS reports that one of the library files needed to run this
application cannot be found." I get eh same mesage for the mplvpx.dll file.
I have reinstalled the windows media player twice and can run other types of
media files.

That file is not related to WMP or Windows.

Check out the Happy Friars response to the post "MPL LOADER error messges".
Mispelled in the post. It worked for me WMP 10 and XP. Chris Lanier's
consistently beligerent and unhelpful responses are best avoided unless you
like uncomfortable comedy.

You are suggesting that people download copyrighted files instead of just
unregistering them? That's not too smart, plus it's illegal. I'm sure you
know that however.

this does not work. all this did was give me 3 more erros
about dll'sor something. what do i do Wyntertalamasca?
you seem to have an idea about what to do.

nevermind, i found out how to fix it. downloading those
files does not work, so i searched and found the answer.
turns out chris's posted worked! might want to reboot
after throguh.
