File Access Denied in XP Pro SP2 Update

I have tried to install the new SP2 update for Windows XP on 4 occasions and
it has failed each time at exactly the same spot with exactly the same error.
I get a dialog box with a message saying that access is deneid to a file that
is being replaced. The filename where this occurs is FXSAPI.DLL and it causes
a failure each time I try to update. What can I do to correct this problem?

If you only want to reset the file/folder permissions, add this to the
secedit command line:

/areas FILESTORE
