| Hi all,

| I have a sbs2003r2 server and 2 vista business laptops. one acer and one hp.
| the sbs2003r2 server has a couple of shared folders.
| the hp laptop can create folders and files in the sbs shares and afterward
| rename these.
| the acer laptop can create files and folders but cannot rename them. i
| receive the error that the parentfolder is not existing. no matter how many
| subfolders i create it always says the first upper folder does not exist.
| i have searched the internet and found some possible solutions, tried these
| but no luck.
| logged in with administrator account but the same problem occurs, creating
| is possible, renaming is not possible.
| because of this issue the acer laptop is as good as useless.

| anyone know of this problem and have it solved.

| TIA,

| ger59

Not to mention, he can't be bothered to even try to properly
capitalize his sentences or form logical paragraphs. I'm no grammar
Nazi, but people need to realize that if you can't easily read what
they post, then you won't bother reading.

To put it another way, if they can't be bothered to spend their time
to TRY to make their post readable, why should we bother to spend time
trying to decipher it?
